Background
Altura Data is the consultancy of Adam Adshead, a senior data engineer with over eighteen years designing and building large-scale data systems. He has delivered terabyte-scale pipeline migrations from Hadoop to GCP, built marketing attribution platforms, and led data engineering across ad tech, real estate, and public sector clients.
His approach is architecture-first: get the design right, keep the moving parts minimal, and build systems that are safe to re-run. He works as a solo practitioner, which means no account managers or delivery overhead, just direct engagement with the engineering problem.
